Hi,
I have a question regarding using the NIS 2011 installation CD. At the end of the installation process, a screen comes up asking for a email address and password for a Norton Account. I don't have a Norton Account, and don't buy on-line, so I wouldn't even know what email address or password to enter. I managed to get out of this page and everything seemed to work okay.
The next day I went into my Administrator account and when I clicked on Norton, up came this same Norton Account page to enter an email and password. This page was in front of the Norton main page. Since there wasn't any "X" in the upper right corner to click to get out, I went into Task Manager to end the process. Well, the page shaded out and caused the computer to freeze up. I had to shut down the computer manually.
I had NIS 2010 and there was no such "Norton Account" page on the installation CD.
Could you tell me what this Norton Account page is? What am I supposed to do with it? Why is there no way to get out of it? How can I fix this problem since it will show up every time I go into my Administrative Account (but not my Standard account)?
