NIS 2011 not recognized by Windows 7 system health report

Hello;

I have Norton Internet Security 2011 installed on my computer, recently upgraded automatically from NIS 2010 (ie I installed NIS 2011 over the 2010 version as recommended by members in this forum). I generated a system health report on my computer (Windows 7 Home edition) and received the following message:

 

The Security Center is unable to identify an active anti-virus application. Either there is no anti-virus product installed or it is not recognized.

 

However, my NIS 2011 appears to be up and running with a green check mark. Am I actually protected if Win7 does not see NIS? If I am protected, how can I configure NIS so that Windows sees it?
