Hi. I'm trying to use the built in Win XP (sp3) PPTP/L2TP networking client to access an external VPN service. However, I can't connect to the VPN server at all unless I turn off the smart firewall in NIS 2011.Then it connects but I lose all protection.
I've created a new rule to initially allow PPTP traffic only and then to allow all traffic to the VPN server but I'm still unable to connect. I've searched the forum but haven't been able to find any past solutions to this. I'd appreciate any help on this.
