In my win 7 32bit pc I have NIS 2011 (lastest version) and NOF 2.3.0.19
NOF run C:\Program FIles\Norton Online\Addons\Norton Safety Minder\Engine\2.3.0.19\tampmon.exe every 5 minutes and I find the relative log on NIS event viewer.
Yesterday, when I was offilne, I find in NIS event viewver that taskeng.exe tried to terminate tampmon.exe but NIS blocked taskeng.exe. However tampmon.exe didn’t run more until I rebooted pc. I know that because for the next 30 minutes I checked NIS eventi viewer and no tampmon.exe connection attempt was logged.
So I think that taskeng.exe had terminated tampmon.exe eluding Norton Tamper Protection.
