Help please.
I want to use the newest version of NIS without the Online vault. I prefer to use the computer version of the vault, like I have for years. [I always back-up my logins and cards to a DAT file on my computer- then to a flash drive].
Please someone, tell me STEP BY STEP, [I am not computer lingo literate, lol]. How to disable the online vault , for passwords, and just use the computer version.
I did try the online vault when I upgraded to a new computer and it had a new version of NIS installed and I hated it. I had nothing but problems with it. It would not remember my passwords, I had to log into my Norton acct and change my vault password everyday because it kept telling me my password was incorrect, I had no easy access to my passwords [like I do now] when Norton would fail to log me into a website [and it does this everyday, bacuse I have hundreds of logins]. I was forced to uninstall it and to install the 2012 version.
Please don't try to encourage me to use the online vault. I did.
I just want to know how to make the NIS 2013 or 2014 version work the same as the original Norton products, with my passwords on my computer.
