Running NIS 2012 on Vista Business SP2
changes I make to traffic rules are having no effect.
I want to monitor traffic in and out on a particular port. I added a traffic rule, as the first rule, to monitor and log on this port. I know there is traffic, I can see it in network monitors. However nothing shows up in NIS Security Log.
My log is flooded with "Default Block UPnP Discovery Stealthed" entries. I understand why this happens but it is very annoying to have it logged every time, so I unticked the create security log entry for this. This makes no difference.. My log is still being flooded with these entries.
I cannot understand why my traffic rule changes are being ignored.
