Just upgraded from NIS 2011 to 2012, running Lenovo T400, XP, Chrome browser and Acrobat X.
I am sometimes unable to download a PDF document from the Chrome browser eventhough the site is listed as Norton Secure or Norton OK. But some Secure or OK labeled PDF downloads do work--no ryhme or reason as to the inconsistency. Turning off Intelligent Download makes no difference. Interesting thing is that I have no problem downloading the PDFs using IE 8.0. Most importantly, I did not have this problem running NIS 2011. The only change made to my machine configuration was the upgrade to NIS 2012.
I had an online Chat with Tech Support and they remotely watched the problem happen. No solution other than a roll back to NIS 2011 but I think I was dealing with a novice.
I think this is a bug between NIS 2012 and Chrome. Anybody have any thoughts?
