I've been running NIS since 2009 and have enjoyed the Identity Safe feature a lot, and frankly, it's the biggest reason why I have stuck with this Norton product series. Up until recently, when more and more websites began using these pop-up windows to have users log-in, NIS/IS would successfully fill in the required information. Now, with NIS 2012, these log-in pop-ups are no longer a problem.
HOWEVER...
I have spent a good bit of time organizing the 70 or so log-ins I have into common folders (Financial, Technology, Entertainment, etc), and now what I am seeing is that NIS 2012 is pushing those folders aside and creating a list of sites I'm going to (along with listing the User ID- yeah that's smart). This might be fine if we're only talking about three or four sites, but I have to use about 20-30 daily and now this list is nothing more than jumbled, unrecognized mess!
Did I miss something in the settings to prevent this? If this is designed to be this way, why would anyone make NIS 2012 do this in the first place? Those who were responsible for this idiotic decision should be fired, from the coders to whatever committee thought it was a good idea and to the manager who blessed it.
If this can't be fixed, I'm afraid the only option I will have is to uninstall NIS 2012, reinstall NIS 2011, and after my subscription runs out in 100 days, find some other internet security solution.
Thanks,
