Hi folks, I am a longtime Norton/Symantec user, and Identity Safe has become my go-to feature for password security.
I just had a new computer built, and my programmer put NIS 2012 on it. I've had the previous versions of NIS on my previous computers and I've never had any issues. Just recently I even downloaded Identity Safe onto a laptop that didn't have any Norton products, and yet ID Safe still worked flawlessly as usual.
However, right now ID Safe is working in a very odd manner, when at all. I am running IE 10 on Windows 8. I have tried both the desktop based ID Safe, and the browser online based formats, with both having the same issues. My sites and their corresponding passwords are properly stored and entered in the database, but 90% of the time this data is not auto-filling the log-in fields as I've selected for it to do. Once I do get it to work, it'll auto log-in for a single page, but then it won't do it again for any others. I have restarted my computer, I've logged off and back in, and I have undone and then reapplied the settings all to no avail. I have even allowed the computer time to hopefully allow for changes to take place, yet nothing has changed,
So, here I am wondering what's going on? Also, is this a known bug such as a compatibility issue? If so, I hope that Norton offers an update soon which rectifies it all, because it is pretty disappointing. NIS 2012 is otherwise working extremely well for me and I'd like to figure out a solution to this problem. Thanks.
