NIS 2012 Scheduling (and in general) is Horrible!

NIS 2012 uses less resources but otherwise it is a nightmare and makes IT professional waste time searching through the new interface for the exact same features that were easily accesible in 2011 and below.  Other than wasting my time, my biggest issue is the change to the scheduling in 2012.

1st of all, it doesn't add a scheduled task to the Windows Task Scheduler so I assume 2012 is maintaining its own schedule.  2nd, the ability to schedule a monthly take on the "1st Monday of the Month" (for example) has been removed and this is a HORRIBLE decision.  I am now forced to select a day of the month such as 1, 2 ,3 and this can fall on any day of the week.  This is how 360 was designed and was always a limitation for configuring automated maintenance for small businesses.  The goal is to run all tasks on a given day, not all tasks except for Norton scans which will run on the 1st of the month regardless of what day this falls on.

I have roughly 1,000 seats installed and unless I received a reasonable response to these issues, I will not renew with Norton and instead will move to a competitive product.  I am a faithful customer of Norton and have been for years but this release is a disgrace and is a classic example of developers influencing a design moreso than making changes based on consumer feedback.

The questions again:

1.  Is 2012 using the Windows task scheduler or is Norton maintaining a separate task engine?

2.  How can a task be scheduled to run on the 1st Monday, Tuesday, etc. of the month?
