Hi,
I have 2 computers running NIS 2013 v20.2.0.19. The 1st is a Dell running Win7 ult 64-bit; the 2nd is a ASUS notebook running Win8 Pro 64-bit. There are 2 logons defined on both computers that need to have access to the online vault. On both computers one account has admin access and the other is a standard user account (the standard account on Win8 is a Windows Live user Id account).
I am having problems accessing the online vault. At first from all accounts. After a session with Norton support, where they recreated the online vault and re-populated it from a backup, I have been able to access the online vault from three of my accounts. The one that is still failing is the standard user in Win8 (Win Live userid). The failure occurs when I try to set-up the access to the vault; at the point where I need to logon to my Norton account. I am getting a network failure error message. Then the process wants me to create a new vault (I do not). The NIS main screens shows that I am login to the Norton account.
This is still happening after a clean install of NIS (Norton removal tool and then an install).
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Thank you for any help you can provide.
