I hoping to get some direction on this, nearly every week I get a failure of NIS 2013 that it fails to show updates, and failing to be able to select system scan options. Without fail, I need to run Norton Removal tool, as the self fix in NIS 2013 fails to fix and provides me the only option, remove and re-install, this is now weekly event. (6 Times) Enough is enough!!! I seem to get updates virus def’s after re-installing, and a “patch” and all goes ok for a few days then its a case of cant select scan options on the UI and the definitions show about 24-48 hours out of date. Pulse updates are enabled. This error must be associated with a update, and as a side effect is my bio finger reader driver, this file gets corrupted, every time… I am getting to a point of considering to remove NIS 2013, too many issues flashy UI doesn’t mean it working or protecting me.
