As the beginning of March 2013 i begin to suffer a serious freeze/ HDD overloading causing programs to running at a stall speed.
This problem was first seem while i play a MMORPG call Final fantasy XI while i having high receive issue and with opera open.
I later on using opera:CPU to detect whether it is opera's fault for high cpu usage while this continue happen even without runnning my MMORPG game.
Then i restart my pc and the same proble occur without active any program nor moving the mouse after 2-3 min of reboot into desktop.
I ran safe mode which was perfectly fine for 24 hours as i move everything to backup drive to get ready for a reformat.
I ran several tests in safe mode and normal mode disable all start-up programs and service beside norton internt security suite.
The problem persist.
My last resort was to uninstall norton security suite 2013 and run one last time under normal desktop and the HDD overloading disappeared.
I suspect NIS have updated something causing my PC to overload itself. currently i am still running tests and stress test.
I have tested my hardwares, which are fine
amd turban 2.8ghz 4gm ram amd radeon 5850 asus sonar sound card 950 corsair power.
Althrough my front 2 fan of the case seem broken which i don't think it was the case of this problem..
I think NIS is at fault here.
