NIS 2013 Full System Scan Settings Ignored

My Full System Scan settings say 9:30 pm every Friday but it doesn't run.  It runs at various times on Saturday.  How do I make it scan according to the settings?  As far as I can recall it's done this since I updated to NIS 2013 in April.

I'm using Norton Internet Security Version: 20.3.1.22

No, it's not sleeping or hibernating.  And doing tasks never stopped it from running before.  Actually I've stopped doing things like photo editing on Photoshop when the scan was running because the scan slowed things down so I usually waited until the scan was finished. Nothing has ever stopped the scan from running before.

Hi Lexiemac

Can you check your time, day and year on the computer clock?

Also check that, only at idle time, box is unchecked by clicking the Norton icon, click settings, click computer, click computer scan, click full system scan there is option 1,2,3 select option 2 and bottom LHS of user interface.

Already checked computer clock Intersec. It's okay.

Clicked Norton / settings / computer scan / full system scan /

Idle is not checked.  Scan Schedule says Weekly / Friday / 9:30 pm / only on AC is checked / Prevent Standby is checked

What is LHS?

Hi Lexiemac

LHS is short for left hand side.

Try running autofix by clicking the Norton icon, click support, click get support and let it run then restart the computer.  It should tell you if any items where fixed.  If you get an error message about MBAM then just click on skip on the error screen.

I don’t use schedule scan but have set it to daily and I am going to keep a check on it.  Can I suggest you do the same and change the time of the scan in the hope that if it’s got a glitch then it might affect it?
