NIS 2013- Outlook 2013 - Antispam toolbar is Missing & Spam Not Being Moved To Spam Folder

I recently installed the Office 2013 on my PC, NIS 2013 seemed fine with Office 2010 however on Outlook 2013 the Norton Toolbar is missing.  Furthermore although Norton is flagging mail as spam it is not being moved to the Norton spam folder.

I have tried the know fixes for issues with the Toolbar but to no avail.  The version of Office 2013 is the latest and is thru the Home User Program.  My OS is Windows 8.

Can anyone help ?, I did try the  Symantec Live Chat but that doesn't seem to be working.

Cheers

I am having the same problem except mine does not seem do show or do anything. Emails arent being marked as span and toolbar missing.

Ok I'll stand in line for the answer too. I'm in the same situation, I don't have a beta or release candidate version.

Thanks,

Greg

I'm having the same problem too!

I'm having the same problem too!

Me also.

Hi Everyone,

We have not offered a complete support for Outlook 2013 so far. So right now, you may see this integration issue between NIS/N360 and Outlook 2013.

However, we will support Outlook 2013 from the upcoming release.

Thanks,

Sneha

Thanks Sneha for the update.  Do you know when to expect this new release?

If you need someone to help testing, send me a message.

Greg

you guys sould no by now that norton can not tell you when they will release  new updates  so i would this keep checking back for new updates  on it

Great I can't wait I guess no updates for the current versions of norton that we are using?

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the late reply.

We don't have any ETA as of now but we'll post an announcement when a new patch is available.

Keep an eye on our main Norton Internet Security / Norton Antivirus board for new announcements.

When Norton/Symantec say they don't offer 'complete support' for Outlook 2013 yet, do they mean just functionality, such as the missing toolbar, or does it mean that we are not protected properly against viruses and spam?

Should we continue using the old version until this is resolved for computer protection???

Hello

Norton 360 support the Outlook 2013?

Hi,

If your mail server uses standard ports for incoming and outgoing emails, than the products email scan, and the other layers like SONAR will still protect you, "only" the toolbar is missing.

2days ago the toolbar showed up in my Outlook 2013 and seemed as if it was working ok.  My regular scan would not work properly and I used the erase and replace tool from Norton and that fixed the problem but now the toolbar is gone and will not come back???  using outlook 2013 and windows 8

I had the same thing happen, but if you go into FILE>OPTIONS>ADD INS... there was something there that showed me that the Norton Add in was inactive. There was an option to always enable this add in, or something like that. I can't find it exactly as it was as when I selected to do that, it now appears in the add ins list and has worked fine ever since.

Me too, however I just upgraded Norton 360 to the latest version yesterday, and it is no longer integrated with my Outlook 2003. Have tried turning 360 off and back on, and just deleted and reinstalled to no avail. Seems to be more of a problem than just Outlook 2013.

Oops, nevermind.
