Problem / bug with the following setting:
Computer / Computer Scan: Rootkits and Stealth Items Scan: I set this to on, and then apply, OK.
Next when I reopen this setting the slider is red and the setting is Off.
When I reset it to On I cannot click apply, so the setting still seems to be on ON but the interface shows OFF.
This kind of behavior only appears when you have Compressed File scan OFF, which I want to have OFF indeed.
If you have Compressed File Scan ON everything works OK, but that is not what I want.
I would like to have compressed file scan off and rootkits scan on, or is this combination not possible?
Can anyone confirm?
Thanks,
René.
For me, it is not the Rootkit Scan, but the Microsoft Office scan button that behaves as you noted.
Indeed this behavior seems to appear not only with the setting of the Rootkits Scan but also with the MS Office Scan: sliders do not stick to the position you set them to. This makes it for the user unsure if his settings are really working as intended... :(
Anyone else have the same problem?
Thanks,
René.
I have the same problem: Compressed File Scan is set to OFF, but when I try to set Rootkits and Stealth Items Scan to ON, the Apply button is greyed-out and disabled. It seems that you cannot permanently set Rootkits and Stealth Items Scan to ON unless Compressed File Scan is also set to ON. I don't understand why there is a dependency between the two.
