NIS 2013 Slow to ready itself in Windows 7

 Hello

I just upgraded my whole pc and built a new sys with an i7 3700K  CPU  and a good SSD drive. 

I installed windows 7 64bit and was very pleased as it booted and was ready to go in 10 seconds.

BUT .... when i installed NIS 2013  20.1.0.24  i found that when Windows booted , although the NIS 2013 tray icon was ticked green it would it in fact just sit there in a coma for about two minutes even though the rest of the pc was ready right away.

It still does it 2 weeks later so it does'nt look to be resolving itself.

Should i forget 2013 and go back to 2012 ?
