I don't what is causing this but there are times when my Google Chrome and my Outlook from Office 2010 will not connect to the internet. Internet explorer will connect. If I disable the the smart firewall then Chrome and Outlook will connect right away. I have checked the settings and in the application management section of the smart firewall settings I have both apps set to Allow. This is starting to happen more and more often. I am running on Windows 8. Any ideas how to fix this?
