Hi everyone,
I have a quick question, does anyone know the purpose of the following directory/folder by NIS 2014 (v21.6.0.32) ?
C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\NIS_21.1.0.18\QBackup
I came across this folder since my defragmentation application shows it as extremely fragmented. I was very surprised to see this directory is 6.25 GB in size. It contains 2730 folders. Most folders contain 2 files similar to those shown in the following screenshot:

This QBackup folder is far too large and I am considering deleting the entire contents of this folder. I would appreciate any advice/suggestions if this course of action is not recommended.
My operating system is Windows 8.1 Pro Update (Aug 2014). I have been using this installation of Windows and NIS since November 2013.
