NIS 2014 scans not working

 

Norton scans do not work.

I have an HP 110 Desktop,Windows 8.1 with Norton Internet Security 2014

Version 21.1.0.18 … scans have been working great up until the 20th of Dec.

 

When I try to do a virus scan it does not do anything. I click on the quick scan or full system scan, but it does nothing.

It apparently has not been working since 12/20/13 as the performance section shows no

scans since that date.

Also, when I click on 'settings' on the main interface, it does nothing. And when I do a right

click on the Norton Icon in the tray, and try to display the 'View Recent History', it does nothing.

 

Everything I've mentioned here that doesn't work, has worked great up until the past few days.

I was thinking maybe an update had caused this and I've been waiting to see if a newer update

would fix the problem, but, not so far.

Apostolos,  Thank you for your response.   I used your second suggestion using Norton RnR tool and everything works fine
