It is my understanding that when NIS installs, it turns off Windows Firewall & Windows Defender. Currently, my Win Defender status is “disabled” in Services.msc, but Win firewall status is “started/automatic”. Should I manually disable Win firewall, or does NIS simply disable the specific components of Win firewall that would conflict with NIS, meaning that no changes are required to be made by me? (Win Vista x86 SP2). Thanks in advance…
