Shortly after I start up my system (W10 with all updates applied), I get a notice from W10 that no firewall is running, and gives me the option of turning on Windows Firewall or Norton Firewall. However, the little Norton icon in the taskbar says all is OK, and when I check my Norton settings, they show that SmartFirewall is on. So my questions are:
1) How can I tell who's right...is the firewall really on or off?
2) If it's off, why? And why would the Norton settings show it as on?
3) If it's really on, how can I get Windows to stop telling me it's not?
Thanks for any insight y'all can provide.
