To fix this issue, we need to allow the following Windows Policy provider in the smart firewall, to do so please follow the below steps:
· Start Norton Internet Security.
· In the Network pane, click Settings.
· Under Smart Firewall, click Configure next to Advanced Settings.
· Under Advanced Settings, click Configure next to General Rules.
· Under General Rules, please look for the following rule: Policy Provider: Symantec Outbound Connect V4 Callout
· Please select the following rule in the general rules tab.
· You will have an option to Modify the firewall rule.
· Please change the option as ‘Allow’.
· Close the window.
I have no such firewall rule listed.
