NIS blocks G Data rescue CD

Tonight I went to download the "Bootmedium" live CD by G Data, for use as a backup malware scanning solution if there is ever a problem on one of my computers.

G Data is a known antivirus company. But when I clicked on the link to download the ISO file from their page, NIS stopped the download with a "Malicious Web Site Blocked" warning and a link to a Symantec page explaining the security risk involved.

Here's what the Norton warning page looks like:

I doubt that it's a case of NIS hindering the use of a competitor's product :smileywink: since I've already successfully downloaded several other rescue CDs by various AV companies. So is this a false positive, or is there really something to this one?

Anyone in a position to know, who can speak to this issue?
