NIS Chat support a waste of time

 

I updated NIS and it stopped working. I contacted chat and let them access my computer.  Advice to everyone: DO NOT ALLOW

1st person spent 2+ hours.  Level 2 person spent 3.5 hours. Uninstalled some windows upgrade.  Uninstalled drivers.  Changed my desktop settings. After all that said that Engineering was working on it and there is no solution.  Why not say that at the start?

Then re-installed previous version.  It was a Trial Version that de-activated when I tried to run a scan.  Repeatedly asking could not get to contact a supervisor..

If Engineering was working on it, why not say so.  I would have waited till you had a solution.

5.5 hours wasted.  2+ hours for me to restore my system

2 incompetent trainees EXPERIMENTING on my system.  Refused to give me a contact to complain.

Hope no one else has to go through this.
