Running XP-Pro SP2
Recently received the update to 17.7.0.12 - every thing appears to be working fine (excluding my prior logging issue), NIS 2010 program shows as ver 17.7.0.12, Explorer "Program Files Folder" shows the NIS Engine to be 17.7.0.12.
However, I note that the folder where NIS stores its definition files for virus defs, antispam, etc is still named NIS_17.5.0.127.
Full path is C:\Documents & Settings\All Users\Application Data\Norton\{0C55C096......etc}\NIS_17.5.0.127\Definitions.
Definitions are updating, NIS shows all OK, One Click Support shows all OK.
Still seems strange that 17.7.0.12 is looking to a folder named 17.5.0.127 for its definitions. Is this correct?
I previously was updated from 17.5.0.127 to 17.6.0.32 but did not notice the above until just now, guess it would be safe to assume the Definitions parent folder did not change back then either - yes?
