I get an "action required" box saying: "Norton Internet Security has detected threats that require your attention."
However, nothing is listed in threat details, and "Apply All" does not seem to do anything. Security history lists nothing for this year (last event October 24th and Adware.OneStep Quarantined).
If I click on finish (either after or before clicking on "apply all) I get a box saying "Your system still has unresolved threats. Are you sure you want to close?"
Also, windows freezes up a lot, and takes forever to restart (this behavior being about two weeks old now).
Also the Norton Internet Security panel acts pretty wonky (i.e. only the text shows up, and the windows background shows through).
Any ideas? Should I do a complete uninstall/reinstall?

Run LiveUpdate repeatedly until you receive all the available updates, restart the computer to Safe Mode and double-click on Norton icon to run a Full System Scan. After that, restart the computer to normal mode and check the status. Let us know the results.
I've got the same problem ("action required" box saying: "Norton Internet Security has detected threats that require your attention." However, nothing is listed in threat details, and "Apply All" does not seem to do anything)
As per the suggestions, I have run a Malwarebytes full scan which found no problems, and I did the Norton scan in safe mode. When I rebooted after that it brought up up the same "action required...." message so the problem is still there.
Uncheck the Norton Product Tamper Protection from Miscellaneous Settings. Delete the folder QBackup. The location is as follows:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application data\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\Norton\QBackup
Recheck the Norton Product Tamper Protection from Miscellaneous Settings. Run LiveUpdate and then a full system scan again. Check whether it shows any unresolved risks now.
Ran RKill (Sonar deleted file, added to exception list and restored file)
Ran RKill again
Downloaded the latest update for Malwarebytes
Started Malwarebytes full-system scan
Came back about 30minutes later to check on scan and Norton had a popup message stating that it resolved threats and needed to restart to finish the process
I stopped the Malwarebytes scan and re-booted the system
Problem returned the next day after restarting the computer. When I run a Norton scan it shows "Attention Required (191)." Again, nothing is listed in the display box or security history.
Prior to running RKill, I had contacted Norton chat and gave the representation permission to remote in. She clicked on security history and it displayed "Spyware.Keylogger." The Norton representative said I was infected with Spyware.Keylogger and needed to contact their fee department to have it removed. I did not pay the fee. After disconecting from Norton, I searched Spyware.Keylogger with no diffenitive results. I cleared security history and have not been able to reproduce results.
It was at this point that I tried RKill. After initial system restart, I ran full scans from Malwarebytes and Norton, both indicated nothing found and the popup "Action Required" did not return untill the next day (after re-boot).
For me what worked was doing a uninstall / reinstall, that was a few days ago and seems to have worked.
I was trying to delete the QBackup folder as suggested in message 5 but could not delete it, administrator rights or not, it seems that to delete certain folders you need permission from Bill Gates himself.
Anyway, I gave up on that and did a reinstall and its ok now.
