I recently installed the Ability Mail Server on my main PC in order to host my own email. It seems to be working well.
The problem I'm having is that ever since my email server went live, once or twice a day, I get a NIS Email error popup box, displaying an Error 554 Transaction Failed. Spam message not queued.
What's really weird is that details show that the sender is the email address for the email server's administrator. It's weird because messages to the administrator's are sent to a different domain, and the administrator doesn't even have an email account on my new server. For example, the error message shows: From = admin@otherserver.com (even though the sending server is @myserver.com); To = various email addresses, but only one per message; Subject = Mail System Error - Undeliverable Mail.
I suspect spyware, but haven't found any yet.
Any advice will be appreciated.
