Over the last six months, I have noticed the Norton exe nis.exe consuming more and more RAM according to the Win 7 Resource Monitor, many times more than even iTunes (which is a notorious memory hog that I can't avoid using unfortunately).
Right now it is showing 333,448 MB used and it is faulting. My machine has 8MB total and can't be upgraded or I surely would. I don't really want Norton to be the deciding factor to upgrade to a higher capacity machine. Please help.
