NIS icon monitor on desktop

Hello.

 

I've had NIS for two weeks now, but I inadvertantly closed the icon on my desktop that seemed to be a visual monitor of NIS.

I've waited for a very long time for the online chat, but never getting hooked up. This is different than the icon on the desktop tray.

 

Can you provide instrucitons so that I can put the NIS icon back on the desktop?

Click on your Start Menu button. In the search field at the bottom, type gadgets. You should get the gadget window. Right-click on the Norton gadget and select "Add".

........ or right click an unused area on your desktop, Select Gadgets from the dropdown and then drag the Norton Gadget to the location on your desktop that you desire it to be located.

Beautiful! Gadgets was the trick AND I didn't know about that feature.
