After NIS updating to 22.5.4.24 in October, NIS icon on the notification area sometimes does not appear, and the activation of NIS in the program files also can not be activated, so I can not access to any NIS (NIS is running or not). Today it was updated to 22.5.5.15, but the same situation occurs.
I asked to Norton suppot, and they said that it is fixed by turning off the Fast startup in the Control panel. By this way, the NIS icon always is displayed in the notification area. The support staff said that some conflict between NIS and windows process occurs during startup and NIS icon disappear!
I can not understand why it ios so, and I think Norton should try to fix this error because the fast startup function is provided as default setting on UEFI PCs.
How do you think for this error, and please let me know your opinions.
