NIS Key Logger

I have this version of NIS 21.1.0.18, will it protect my PC against Key Logger threats? If not can you advise a Key Logger program that works well with Norton. Thank you for the information.

Norton detects malicious keyloggers, but not commercial ones. Zemana AntiLogger is probably the most effective program to target keyloggers specifically.

Bombastus, thanks for your reply. I had Zemana on my PC and Norton NIS caused problems with it running. My subscription for 2013 came to an end. I think I will try Malwarebytes free program.

Hi volker111:

If you meant that your NIS subscription has ended, please read the MBAM support article here which states in part that "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is not meant to be a replacement for antivirus software".  If you don't intend to renew your NIS subscription, you should at least consider installing AVG Free Edition, Avast! Free Antivirus, Microsoft Security Essentials or one of the other reputable free antivirus programs listed here on the FileHippo site to see if they're compatible with Zemana AntiLogger.

I would have to do more research, but there might also be some Zemana AntiLogger users in this forum who have successfully created a program exception in the NIS settings to allow both programs to run simultaneously on the same system.

Ah. Spyshelter is another excellent anti-keylogger - and it has been reported to work well wiht Norton on Wilders Security Forum.

Imacri,

I have Zemana running with NIS on one system and 360 on another. Both seem to be doing well together. So far no problems. Also, no exceptions required in either program to allow them to play together.

Stay well and surf safe
