Shin, you need to remember that each thread is distinct from other threads.

Most of us, myself included, have no idea what you mean by "the license problem."  Can you provide some details?  If you are talking about Activation Code, you should have a place to enter it.  Activation Code is different than resubscribing code and is entered in a different place.  Please tells us more about the nature of the problem.

Hi ShinOrochiX,

No response indicates a problem with how the product is reaching the server.

We will probably need to know:

Your Operating System

What Service Pack

How you connect to the internet

Your default browser

I suspect that since you are able to post here, the problem is going to be some simple setting within NIS or in your internet connections and there are those here who can help with that.

Yaso, that was so fast you just had to get a kudo.

Lol, thanks, mijcar

Sorry for the late reply my computer unexepectedly shutdown then restarted (I was already frustrated so I gave up for the day)

Anyway, here are some details:

Dell Vostro 200

Windows Vista Business SP2 (32-Bit)

3GB Memory

230GB Hard drive (approx)

Sorry again. Yaso_Kuuhl gave me a link to a fix which I ran and it solved the "Sorry, no response recieved from the Symantec Server" problem and erveything is fine now. Thanks to everybody who was willing to help out.

So everything is fine now (Sorry If some of the things I said don't make sense).

Sorry about the linked text.

Hi ShinOrochiX,

Glad the fix was able to solve the problem, and I hope your computer is running properly again :-)

I've got one problem (about the computer running properly), I've recently got the blue screen of death a few times (about 3 times in 2 days) which is unusual becuase It never really happened to me before, could it be a rootkit or something...

Since your second problem is unrelated to your first one, which concerned an error notification when trying to activate NIS, I suggest that you start a new thread which focuses solely on your blue screen issue. You will get more topic-appropriate support that way.
