New Update has been posted to Norton Update Center, the Online Store and the Trial download.
Important: This update release is NOT available through Liveupdate. The update is available only through Norton Update Center, the Online Store and the trial download from Norton website.
What are the changes in this Update?
This NIS & NAV 21.0.2.1 Update fixes a driver conflict issue between SND and other third party drivers on Windows 8. This conflict had primarily caused customers in Brazil who access online banking to lose Internet connectivity.
To verify you have the update, launch the Main User Interface, click on Support, and select About. The version number of the new release for Norton AntiVirus and Norton Internet Security will be 21.0.2.1
I'm not experiencing the issue with the loss of internet connectivity. Is this update critical?
If you're not having the internet connectivity problems as a result of the 21.0.1.3 release, this update isn't critical for you. It won't be harmful if you update to this version, but it isn't necessary unless you're experiencing the driver conflict.
