NIS - Norton Management -Cannot add 3rd Device

 

Problem

 

I have 3 computers:

desktop

laptopA

laptopB

 

I can add 'desktop' to Norton Management no problem.

 

I can add 'laptopA' to Norton Management no problem.

 

When I add 'laptopB' to Norton Management, it over writes 'laptopA', in Norton Management.

 

If I try to add 'laptopA' back to Norton Management it overwrites 'laptopB'.

 

I have tried numerous uninstall/reinstalls of NIS on the laptops and have actually had Norton Support remote into on of the laptops and fail to correct the issue.

 

Both the laptops are the same make and model. Is it possible that Norton Management is just checking the hardware configuration of the laptops when adding a second device, and assuming they are both the same machine?
