I have Norton Internet Security version 21.6.0.32.
On 27th February 2015 I had an error whilst running LiveUpdate which, via ‘Support’ required me to download and run Norton Remove and Reinstall (NRnR). This ran and completed successfully (the file version is 4.0.0.26). However since then I have noticed 2 things:
1) On the NRnR properties I notice the statement “This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer” . What does this mean ? And should I just click the ‘Unblock’ button ?
2) Each time I now run LiveUpdate I am asked to do a restart after it completes whereas previously the normal end would be ‘OK’ (only rarely would a restart be called for). What’s changed ? And is this correct behaviour ?
