Hi,
When NIS automatically updated on one of my computers (older office desktop) from NIS 20 to NIS 21 the NIS Performance part devours almost all of the CPU capacity. According to Windows Task Manager it goes between 90-100%.
I have never experienced this before with NIS 20 (and have no problems with two other computers with NIS 20 and similar performance of CPU). It uses so much CPU-capacity that it can´t even perform it´s own systemscan..
Therefore, I tried to return to NIS20 by uninstall with NRT and install NIS20 again.
But the problem is still there.
I´ve also tried to use NRnR and tried to clean with NPE. Several times.
I even tried av system reset.
But the problem is still there..
The system seems updated according to Windows Update, and I have also used Malwarebytes and CCleaner.
When I manually turn the NIS performance part off, everything is normal.
I´m aware of that the computer is an older desktop (AMD Sempron 2600+ 1,83 GHz /2 GB internal memory).
It's been installed with NIS since start.
Have the performance requirements changed significantly between NIS20 and NIS21?
And why does the NIS Performance part use 90-100% of my CPU even after downgrade to NIS20?
Thank´s
