Every year I have to remove and reinstall NIS but this July 2014 it really seems to have gone crazy.
When I open NIS the home page shows my system running at 50% and Norton running at 45% of CPU, yet when I open the Windows 7 Task Manager the only system processes running take up 1 to 9% and Norton is churning away at 45%
After 3 removals and reinstalls this is still happening.
I have problems continually on my system with Norton. I have had NIS since April 2011 and it was very stable that year, and since I renewed it on April 2012, I have to remove and reinstall it several times a year and my CPU useage from Norton is way too much. I had the constant ccSvcHst.exe running, now with the new edition it just shows NIS.exe.
I'm really at the end of my rope with this. I can't even go on the Internet and if I try to watch videos online Norton goes nuts.
45% of CPU almost all the time????
