First the story...I have nis 11 on my main machine and also on my old and slow backup. I now have a newer machine for my backup and want to give the older one to a friend. I have a one user lic and wanting to transfer the nis to the newer one and delete it off the old one as that would be two users, I'll let her deside on what she wants.
My Question is can I delete nis off of the old machine and download and install on the replacment? I hear that you can use it on up to three of YOUR machines. On my account I have no activations left and did have when I installed on my backup.
So do I need to buy a new subscription? I always been confused on nortons rules etc.
