I bought Norton Internet Security 2009 about a month ago. Yesterday my laptop crashed and when it started working again NIS said that my subscription had expired. I've re-entered my product key...but nothing has changed. I assumed that the product that I purchased in store was for a 365 day subscription, now unless that has changed...I don't know what's wrong.
Check the system date/time from the bottom-right corner on your deskop and make sure that it has been set correctly. Then synchornize your Norton program with the subscription server:
1. Start your Norton product. 2. At the top right corner of the window, click Help & Support > Subscription Status. 3. Click Finish.
Sometimes this problem can happen when your product's subscription status does not synchronize with our backend. Please follow Yogesh's suggestions and if the issue persists, use the link that huwyngr has provided in his post to contact the customer support.
