Just renewed/installed/activated N.I.S. Premium W/ Backup on my Win7 SP1 desktop PC. I NEVER set any password for the PROGRAM SETTINGS. When I added another household member's differing Win7 desktop PC to the subscription, I used that other PC to download the N. Installation File on the other PC, using that person's own differing email address. The install went reasonably OK on both PCs EXCEPT that when I try to change the PROGRAM SETTINGS on the other, 2nd PC, it tells me a Password is needed to change settings. I've tried using my own Norton Account Password, as well as the differing password for the other PC's email program, and neither password is recognized as valid. I don't understand why the new subscription renewal & upgrade to N.I.S. Premium With Backup has a Settings Password in effect on the other, 2nd PC since no one ever activated any Settings Protection Password. The downloaded/installed program Version # shows as Ver. 22.9.4.8, and I've made sure both PCs have the latest updates for this program. Can anyone help & tell me how to negate the Settings Password in effect on the 2nd PC? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
