I'm running the latest version of NIS on an Acer Aspire 5738Z laptop with Windows 7. It constantly hangs for anything between 2 and 30 minutes. I have switched off idle time scans and automatic windows updates.
Looking at Windows Task manager shows nothing much actually happening (CPU mainly idle), so what is going on!
