NIS Spam Going To Junk Mail Folder Outlook 2007 Instead

I have a clean install of Norton 2010 Internet Security that was installed before Outlook 2007 on my new Windows 7 laptop. My NIS was sending spam to the Norton Spam folder that was listed. Now my spam goes into the “Junk Mail” folder that came with Outlook 2007. Can I delete the junk mail folder and just use the NIS Spam folder??? What gives?
