NIS upgrade to 360 without activating key

Hi

 

I still have a NIS subscription that has 1 year's subscription left. Recently I came upon a good deal to upgrade to 360 to get a 3 years subs for 3 PCs. I believe that my NIS time will be gone if I upgraded it.

 

Is it possible to purchase that 360 subs upgrade without actually activating it? I was thinking of waiting a year before activating my 3 year 360 key. The 360 deal is good so that is why I wanted to get it now.
