Today I was unable to start IE9 (on Windows 7 64-bit) because it kept crashing on startup.
The error message is as follows:
"Internet explorer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
"A problem with this web page caused internet explorer to close and reopen the tab. IEframe.dll is not responding."
IE9 then tries re-open & crahses repeatedly. I had to use Task Manager to kill IE.
After starting IE9 in no-addon mode and enabling addons one by one I identifed that NIS Vulnerability Protection is the addon causing the issue.
The problem has not occurred prior to today.
