If you have already done this and they could not resolve your issue, please let us know.
I would suggest that you run the Norton Removal Tool twice in a row and then try to re-install Norton.
If this does not work, please contact Support and, if already done that, let us [the Community] know.
It's OK now guys, but thanks for the help tho.
The problem was solved by downloading and installing the Czech version of NIS 2009. Installation went without any problems and NIS 2009 works like charm.
I would also like to express my thanks to superb customer care here in the Community. On the very same day I posted my issue here I was contacted by TWO Symantec employees who showed interest in my case. Only by my ignorance (I did not notice I had PMs in my inbox) were their effort not met with proper feedback.
