So every once in awhile Chrome wouldn't connect to the internet because Norton's firewall blocked it. I changed the program rules to allow Chrome to connect, and the problem would be solved for awhile. Until the program rules were changed back to "auto" for some reason. I don't know why this change occurred, but the problem used to be easily fixed, so I wasn't too worried. The last few times I have had to fix this, however, Norton would often crash when I opened the program rules section. I would restart my computer and find that Norton would not crash as I entered program rules and I could fix it again. Recently, however, this crash occurred again and, when I tried restarting my computer, I found that I am unable to open NIS at all now. It doesn't even show the icon on the toolbar. Also, chrome doesn't just fail to connect to the internet now. It crashes when I try accessing a web page. I tried downloading the Norton Removal Tool, but it and other applications fail to run, too. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?
