I am having the following issues with NIS12 and, because I just installed it when I started using Parallels 7 (running Windows 7) on my iMAC, I don't know what is the likely culprit - 1) the fact that I am running NIS12 on a "virtual" PC or 2) a bug of some sort in NIS12. However here are some of the symptoms.
I set up my Identity Safe account last night and shut down. When I went back into Windows 7 using Parallels 7, I went to IE8 and tried to log back in Identify Safe. It wouldn't recognize my password. So, I put in a new password and started all over again. Logged out of Windows 7, logged back in, opened IE8, tried to log into Identify Safe (IS) and again, IS wouldn't accept my password. What if find interesting is that as long as I don't close Win7, I can log into IS multiple times, no problem. It's just when I close down and restart Win7 that I am having the problem.
Also, when I go to websites and log in for the first time, IS is supposed to ask me if I want to save the log in information. I have that feature enabled, but it is not working. If I add the login and PW information into IS, then it autofills OK as long as I stay in the session.
Anyway, I know this is probably complicated by the fact that I am using IE8 and NIS12 through a virtual platform on a iMAC, but I would appreciate any help you could provide. The IS login feature was one of my favorites when I was using NIS on my old PC.
