So, NIS12 installed with Smart Defs On by default. I'm sure I had Smart Defs off with NIS11. NIS12 install picked up all my other settings afaik. But, I think Smart Defs was changed to default On.
If I recall correctly with NIS11 the Smart Defs = Core Set was suggested for users with dial-up or metered connections. What's the consensus suggestion with NIS12. If I turn Off Smart Defs and run LU. I'll dl approx 118mb additional defs. I have DSL so I don't mind the 118mb. Just wondering if Smart Defs is now the preferred suggested option for all users. Or, should I grab the additional 118mb one time and run with Smart Defs Off.
