Using NIS 20.2.0.19, about 1/4 of the time at Windows XP shutdown, ccsvchst.exe will not shut down, and an "End Task" notification pops up. I then have to use the "end task" button to go ahead and shut down. I have seen a couple of other threads on this matter, and although there are some suggestions to try (some of which involve editing the registry), it's not clear if a definite cause/solution has become apparent in the meantime. Like I said, it doesn't happen every time, maybe every fourth or fifth time, kinda unpredictably. When I upgraded from 2012 to NIS20, i had uninstalled NIS12 and ran NRT twice.
Does this continue to be a known issue? And secondly, is this problem limited strictly to shut-down; i.e., I hope it's not hanging up while the computer is running. I'm not finding any errors in the history log. So I assume (or rather I hope) it's just a nuisance and not affecting my protection any.
